Video transcript

Hey, everyone, Katie and Missy.

Here we are officially done with night five of Olympic trials and, oh my gosh, it did not disappoint.

Started off with an incredible Hunter freestyle from the women.

What an amazing race.

We have your relay as Kate Douglas and Tory H they'll be swing the individual Hunter freestyle.

Gretchen Walsh and Simone Manuel and that 3rd and 4th place position.

Simone got so emotional on the award and it just, I think brought everyone in the stadium tears, seeing her pure joint emotion that relay is going to be on fire this summer and I feel so good about those four girls representing us.

Me too.

I felt really good.

And then next we had the T fly final for the men.

We had Thomas Haman 17 years old.

He has been breaking Michael Phelps National Ariot record since he was 15 years old.

He was bound to win.

So excited for him, him and then we have Luca Orlando in second place.

So carrying on the men's tradition that Michael Phelps had paved the way for many years.

Did you know that Thomas is the youngest male to make the Olympic swim team since Michael Phelps and Aaron Piersall in the year 2000.

Really?

So he must have been.

So, Luke Whitlock was that in the 800.

So he must have, we have a lot of male youngsters, which is super rare and very exciting for the future.

Very exciting for the future.

And then we kept the momentum going.

He had the men's 200 bre, we had the American record go down.

It went down an eight year old American record set by Josh P in 2016.

And that was Matt Fallon with a 206.

And then we had Josh me in second place rounding out those top two.

So exciting.

And then our other final of the night for women was the 1500 we had your classic Katie Square take the titles.

Katie Ledecky and Katie Grimes placing 1st and 2nd in that 1500.

Katie Decky doing what Katie Ledecky does winning by 20 seconds in the 1500 but we are so proud of both of them.

They both already qualified in other events.

So now they're just adding events to their roster in Paris.

Yeah, Katie Grimes is going to be extremely busy and extremely sore open water for I am 1500.

That girl is the toughest time anyone can do it.

It's Katie Grime and then we finished the night with a bang.

We had the men's 100 free final which I got the most nervous for I did too with my husband freaking out.

My heart was beating on my chest and it did not disappoint.

So we had Chris Giuliano who continues his, the meat of his life, meat of his life.

He's already made the Turner freestyle.

So he won the event.

We had Jack Alexei second, Caleb Dressel third and Hunter Armstrong rounding out the relay.

They are also going to be on fire in Paris.

There's so much more to look forward to for the last half of this meet you guys.

So stay tuned.

Thank you so much for following along with us.

We love sharing this journey with you and let's go team usa.
