Matt Rogers celebrates Vanderpump Rules for EW's Entertainers of the Year: It's 'television's greatest reality show'

The "Las Culturistas" podcast cohost says "I DO think so, honey!"

Not since the heydey of Jersey Shore has a season of reality TV captivated the country. Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules was finished filming and started airing in January...but the biggest drama was still to come for the cast of Lisa Vanderpump's series following current and former employees of her West Hollywood restaurant SUR: longtime cast member Tom Sandoval cheated on his girlfriend of nine years, Ariana Madix, with fellow castmate and Madix's close friend, Raquel (er, Rachel) Leviss.

The news — quickly dubbed Scandoval — not only rocked the cast and Bravo fans everywhere but even earned the attention and disdain of people who had never seen the show, especially as cameras immediately started rolling again to capture the aftermath of the bombshell revelation. Among the many things we quickly learned was that it was not just a one-time thing, they were hooking up while Madix was away at her grandma's funeral, and they were sleeping with each other in the house Sandoval and Madix owned together...while Madix was sleeping in another room! They continuously lied to their friends, reportedly had code names for each other, and at the time even said they were in love. The cuts were many and deep.

While there were casualties of Scandoval and long-term mental and emotional consequences for several involved, it reinvigorated what some thought was a series on its last leg — and catapulted Madix to fame in ways she surely couldn't imagine, including endorsement deals, a third-place finish on the latest season of Dancing With the Stars, and news that she'll head to Broadway in January to star as Roxie Hart in Chicago.

Among the many dedicated Bravoholics is comedian and actor Matt Rogers, host of the popular podcast Las Culturistas with Bowen Yang. In the vein of their shade-throwing segment "I Don't Think So, Honey," Rogers — who also appeared this year on Netflix's Glamorous, lent his vocal talents to Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, American Dad, History of the World Part II, and narrated the reality series Love Trip: Paris — fired up his camera to record a special toast (above) to the scandal heard 'round the world.

I don't think so, honey...if you don't think Vanderpump Rules proved it was television's greatest reality show this season. If you thought — in the words of the legendary Scheana Shay — that it was all happening before this season, the Scandoval said "You're a worm with a mustache!" a.k.a., you're wrong. What began as Guy's Night at the Mondrian — five words that chill me to my core — started a true reality television moment in culture.

And has there ever been a better reunion in Bravo history? I don't think so, honey. And you can trust me — I consume these reunions like they're the famous goat cheese balls at SUR. And by the way, justice for Pump, they had an amazing chicken milanese.

So, on behalf of myself and every woman and gay man who wore an Ariana Madix red revenge dress for Halloween this year: thank you. And if you have any complaints, you can send it to Darrell!

I do think so, honey. And congratulations to the cast of Vanderpump Rules.
