Matt Willis has revealed a big tribute to wife Emma on their 16th wedding anniversary.

The Busted musician and Big Brother presenter tied the knot back in 2008, and Matt has marked this year's occasion with a huge tattoo on the back of his leg.

Sharing the new inking on Instagram, the star wrote in the caption: "Happy Anniversary @emmawillisofficial … I love you more than ever.

"16 years and it keeps getting better. Thanks @tomftattoo for your amazing work and fitting me in just in time for today. #anniversary #love."

Followers shared their praise and well wishes in the comments, one writing: "Wowza! Happy anniversary to you both!"

"Wishing you both a Happy Anniversary with more happiness on the horizon," a second added, while a third said: "Omg this is absolutely epic happy anniversary to you and Emma."

Last year, Matt candidly opened up about struggles the couple have endured during their marriage, notably amid a drug relapse he endured in the mid-2010s, saying Emma came close to leaving him a number of times.

"That last relapse was really hard for her, because we had three kids," he told The Guardian. "I’d been eight years sober – we’d thought that it was behind us.

“I went to her and said: 'I need help, I’m surrendering'. Before, it was a case of me promising the world and then letting her down – ‘sorry’ meant nothing.”

The star also reflected that part of the recovery process "is you make amends to people you’ve hurt".

"I never did that with Emma, I don’t think I ever can. I think the way I choose to do it is to be this guy, every day," he added.

“When she notices something, I take it on board and listen, and I don’t argue. I go: ‘You feel that way. That means that I am doing something, that’s not in your head’."
