A week has passed since the drop of Taylor Swift’s highly-anticipated 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department. In true form, Swifties have gone to work on identifying all the celebrities Swift might be alluding to in her lyrics—and, now, the suspects are beginning to respond.

While the jury is still out on Joe Alwyn, both Travis Kelce and Kim Kardashian have each made their feelings clear. Now Matty Healy, has broken his silence.

In a video posted by Entertainment Tonight, the 1975 frontman is asked to rate his “Taylor diss track compared to the 30 others,” to which Healy asks, “diss track?” Healy continues, “I haven’t really listened to that much of it, but I’m sure it’s good.”

Although neither of them actually confirmed the relationship, Swift and Healy briefly dated in 2023 following her split from Alwyn. Their short-lived romance appeared to take quite a toll on the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker, as several tracks including “Down Bad,” “I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can),” “Fortnight,” and “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” are rumored to be about the English musician.

In the last track, Swift appears to be referencing Healy with the lyrics, “Jehovah’s Witness suit” who “tried to buy some pills,” as he tends to wear a black suit when performing onstage and has been forthcoming about his past struggles with heroin.

Earlier this week, Healy’s aunt, Debbie Dedes, offered a bit more insight into her nephew’s reactions to his mentions in the album. "Nothing surprises him any more," she told The Daily Mail. "He will not be surprised by the song. Him and her know what went on."

She continued, “[Taylor] writes about all her relationships, doesn't she? I don't think it will come as a shock to him at all. He's very happy in his new relationship so I'm sure he will be focusing on that.” Healy is currently dating model Gabbriette Bechtel.

Dedes hinted there is more to the story than what is revealed in Swift’s lyrics, saying, "As my nephew, we know a bit more about what went on than has been in the press."
