Meghan Trainor regrets intimate confession about love life

Meghan Trainor regrets opening up about intimate struggles with her husband in the bedroom.

The 30-year-old singer previously discussed her sex life with husband Daryl Sabara and admitted she wished he was "smaller" because making love with him was so "painful", but now she wishes she hadn't said anything at all.

Speaking in a new interview with 'The Pick Up' podcast, she said: "The one thing I'm like, 'Please stop writing articles about that' is when I talked about sexy time with my husband and that I would be uncomfortable afterwards.

"I said he's a big boy and I keep seeing 'Meghan walks weird after [intercourse] because her husband's a big boy' and I'm like 'Please stop writing that article.' "

The 'All About That Bass' hitmaker married the 'Spy Kids' actor in 2018, and a year ago made the candid comments about their love life on her own Workin’ On It’ podcast.

After consulting with her doctor, the songwriter was diagnosed with vaginismus – defined as involuntary tensing of the vagina - and she admitted she would prefer it if her husband had a "smaller" penis.

She added: "I was told I have something called vaginismus. I thought that every woman walking around was always in pain during and after sex.

“I was like, doc, are you telling me that I could have sex and not feel a single bit of pain?"

Meghan also said they had tried “every” sex “angle”, but added “each one [has been] worse than the other”.

Rejecting her podcast guest Trisha Paytas’ idea to get on top, Meghan said: “I’m like ‘Please, no, for so many reasons.’ I’m like, ‘Don’t look at me. I don’t like this. This hurts way worse.’”

They had son Riley in February 2021, and she revealed it took “so long" for her "to even consider” having sex with the actor before they conceived their second child Barry Bruce, who she welcomed into the world in July 2023.
