Meri Brown Celebrates Birthday With Mechanical Bull Ride Following New Relationship Reveal

The "Sister Wives" star revealed on Tuesday that she's now dating a "good-looking guy" named Amos following her 2022 split from ex Kody Brown

Meri Brown is pulling out all the stops for her birthday!

On Friday, the Sister Wives star, who turned 53 on Tuesday, reshared a clip of her riding a mechanical bull to celebrate the occasion at Texas Roadhouse.

“True friends make you ride the bull on your bday,” her friend Joelle Day captioned the Instagram Story, to which Meri added, “Yes, yes they do!”

In the video, a server announces, “Attention Texas Roadhouse. Can we make some noise for Meri celebrating her 21st birthday?” and Meri laughs.

“On the count of three, can I get your loudest, proudest yee-haw? One, two, three” she counts as the crowd cheers.

The celebration comes after the reality star revealed that she is dating a “good looking guy” named Amos in an Instagram post in honor of her 53rd birthday earlier this week.

Alongside a carousel of images of herself and Amos together, Brown wrote, “Birthday #53 is looking a bit different for me this year, and might I say, I like how it looks! Meet Amos, the good looking guy I've been dating since October!”

“He's not 6 foot 6, nor is he a pilot, but he loves Christmas almost as much as I do, and we laugh a lot together, both of which are important elements to a relationship!”

Opening up about why she has kept the news private, she continued, “I've been keeping this kind of close to me as we've been enjoying the last few months of dating and getting to know each other.”

“As I've considered when and how I wanted to share this fun news and share him with the world (jk, not really sharing, I'm keeping him to myself 😉) I knew I wanted to celebrate my birthday in a special way and let you celebrate this with me!”

She concluded the post, “I feel like I'm getting this year off to a great start, and I can't wait to share more with you as the year moves forward!”

Meri confirmed her split from Kody Brown, 55, after 32 years of marriage in December 2022.

Back in November, Brown reflected on what she learned about herself following the separation in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE.

“I'm pretty badass, just going to say it,” she said. “And I am very confident and I know what I'm worthy of and I am a very good business person and I know how to create safe boundaries around myself. And, yeah, it's pretty good. I'm not too shabby of a person."
