Over the course of Fornite’s history, the game and the music industry have become hand in hand. And with Fortnite Festival Season 4 fast approaching, Epic Games have managed to line up a special treat for fans, one of the most iconic bands in music history: Metallica.

Metallica is the first band at the center of all Fortnite experiences, and has joined Fortnite Festival, Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and more.

Fans can expect an all-new music experience inside of Fortnite, Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury. which will bring a series of in-game concert performances to players only on June 22 and June 23.

The new season of Fortnite Festival introduces the Battle Stage, a new competitive way to play the rhythm music game, which will be available even after the Metallica x Fortnite collaboration ends. Fortnite Festival’s Battle Stage will see 16 players in a match, all will play from the same four-song setlist, and one will emerge victorious.
