Michael Douglas made a rare public appearance with his two youngest children in New York City on Wednesday.

The 79-year-old actor looked every inch the proud father as he hit the red carpet for the  premiere of America's Burning on Wednesday evening alongside son Dylan, 23, and daughter Carys, 21.

The Wall Street star looked dapper in a navy blue blazer over a light blue button-up shirt, paired with dark grey trousers and black shoes.

Dylan sported a similar look in a striped blazer with matching trousers and a white button-up shirt.

While Carys stuck to her brother's colour theme in a white suit jacket, which she donned with a grey satin skirt.

The pair's mother, Catherine Zeta-Jones, 54, was not present.

Douglas narrated America's Burning, a documentary about American democracy directed by David M. Smick.

The film delves into the economic divide in America and offers a hopeful vision for the future. Douglas is also listed as an executive producer for the project.

Douglas and Zeta-Jones married in 2000 and share Dylan and Carys. Douglas also has a son, Cameron, 45, from his previous marriage to Diandra Luker.

“Happy #MothersDay to you all, and especially you darling! You deserve it and we all love you so much @catherinezetajones ❤️,” he wrote alongside the picture.

Just days before he attended the America’s Burning screening, he and the Zorro actress went to the British Grand Prix.

On Sunday, July 7. Zeta Jones, who is gearing up to star in the upcoming second series of Netflix hit show Wednesday, shared a selfie of the two at Silverstone Circuit.
