1 June – Malaysian Mandopop singer Michael Wong is to release his latest album "New Hits + Live Concert" on 3rd of June 2011, according to Sin Chew, as reported by Ming Pao.

Earlier, fans were concerned that Michael's latest album's cover design was too similar to Taiwan singer Fei Yu-Ching's album "Sing Over And Over Again". This was changed to avoid any repercussions.

On the other hand, Fei has previously sung Wong's popular song "Tong Hua" in his concert so Michael is said to be considering the prospect of singing Fei's songs in the coming fans gathering next month.

At the same time, Super Junior-M (SJ-M), the third official sub-unit of popular South Korean boy band Super Junior, had specially recorded a short video to congratulate Michael on his latest album.

SJ-M reportedly asked Michael to compose a new song for their album two years ago but this didn't materialise because he hasn't submitted anything.

"I feel bad about it," says Michael.

Besides that, Michael expressed his surprise and joy upon finding out that SJ-M had sung a few of his more popular songs during the fanclub gathering.
