Miles Morales of ‘Spider-Man’ Is Getting a Puma Suede Sneaker in June

Miles Morales’ sneaker catalogue is set to grow with a new release from Puma.

The Puma Suede “Miles Morales” is coming later in June as a tasteful nod to the “Spider-Man” character. Black suede forms the majority of the upper, while the Formstrip arrives in white leather with red stitching. Raised red rubber then replicates the chest of Miles Morales’ Spider-Man suit with his logo surrounded by webbing and a “V” motif, while the color repeats for the laces and a Marvel-branded tongue tag. Rounding out the sneaker is a white sole unit.

Sneakers from several brands have been integrated throughout the Miles Morales animated films and video games. Last year saw the Adidas 4D Ultra take on treatments inspired by the “Symbiote” and “Evolved” suits from the “Spider-Man 2” video games, while the Air Jordan 1 “Next Chapter” was plucked directly from “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.” In 2018, the Air Jordan 1 also got an “Origin Story” rendition for the “Into the Spider-Verse” movie, and a number of other sneakers have also released across the years with less direct tie-ins to specific media.

The Puma Suede has been the focal point of a number of pop culture collaborations, including recent editions for “One Piece,” “Dazed and Confused” and the “NBA 2K” video game series.

The Puma Suede “Miles Morales” is scheduled to release June 22 through Puma’s website. Pricing for the sneaker is set at $90.
