Missouri grand jury does not indict policeman in Ferguson shooting

(Reuters) - A white Missouri police officer will not be charged for fatally shooting an unarmed black teenager in August, authorities said on Monday, after a killing that sparked angry protests in a St. Louis suburb and outrage over police treatment of minorities. A St. Louis County grand jury chose not to indict Ferguson policeman Darren Wilson in the Aug. 9 shooting death of Michael Brown, 18, St. Louis County Prosecutor Bob McCulloch said.
