Having been relegated in the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Singapore S5, Alchemy SG have fought their way back into Season 6.

Together with newly formed Vanguard Esports, these two teams will battle it out with six other teams for the title of MPL SG S6 Champion.

Taking place in September, MPL SG will see RSG SG, last season's Champions, Bleed Esports, Homebois SG, Evil, Team Flash SG, Stellark SG, Alchemy SG, and Vanguard Esports battle it out over four weekends.

The winner of MPL SG S6 will go on to represent Singapore at the M5 World Championship, which will be taking place in the Philippines for the first time.

Come November, teams from all over SEA, Latin America, the Middle East, and North America will be competing for a share of the US$900,000 prize pool.

Alchemy SG's return to MPL SG marks the second time the org has participated, while Vanguard Esport's out-of-nowhere qualification will feel surprising for some. The roster features names from Bleed, Revival, and Zion, though the official roster for MPL S6 not yet been revealed.

Vanguard Esports beat out favourites Blue Mustang, who featured former Malaysian squad Team HAQ players and twins Aimin "Minn" Anuar and Aiman "Mann" Anuar.

MPL SG will feature a prize pool of S$100,000, with the winner taking home S$30,000, followed by S$15,000 for the runner up. The grand finals will be played on 30 September, though no location has yet been announced. MPL SG S5 took place at Suntec City in April, where RSG SG made it a three-peat.

Whether any team can stop RSG SG's dominance remains to be seen, though Team Flash made for a surprising upset by knocking out Bleed Esports, before losing 1-3 to RSG SG.
