TheOhioBrothers will be representing North America in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M5 World Championship in the Philippines this December after they won the North America Challenger Tournament (NACT) Fall 2023 on Monday (2 October).

TheOhioBrothers were the most dominant team of the NACT Fall, thanks in large part to its multinational roster. The team includes American players Carlos "bestplayer1" Vega and Oscar "SHARK" Vo, Filipino players Chris "Mielow" Enobio and "ZIA", as well as South Korean player Jang "Hoon" Seong-hun.

TheOhioBrothers finished as the top seed of the Regular Season, winning its first two stages and finishing second in the third to rack up a league-best 290 points and earn a spot in the NACT Fall Playoffs.

ZIA, bestplayer1, and SHARK also bagged all but one of the Regular Season MVP Awards. ZIA was named MVP of Stage 1 and Stage 3 Week 1, bestplayer1 was named MVP of Stage 2 Week 1, while SHARK was named MVP of Stage 2 Week 2.

TheOhioBrothers then had a perfect run in the Playoffs, scoring back-to-back 2-0 sweeps over Area 77 and BloodThirstyKings in the first two rounds before running through Avalon, 4-0, in the grand finals.

With their victory, the team claimed the lion's share of US$11,000 out of the US$25,600 prize pool. Bestplayer1 also claimed the Grand Finals MVP Award.

As the champions of NACT Fall, TheOhioBrothers will be representing North America in the two biggest international MLBB tournaments this year: the ONE Esports MPL Invitational (MPLI) in November and the M5 World Championship in December.

The MPLI will be hosted in Jakarta, Indonesia from 15 to 19 November and features 16 teams from all across the world fighting for their cut a US$100,000 prize pool.

Meanwhile, the M5 World Championship will be in December in the Philippines and features 22 of the best MLBB teams in the world fighting for the lion's share of a US$900,000 prize pool and the right to call themselves MLBB world champions.

The M5 World Championship proper will be preceded by a Wildcard Stage in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in late November before the tournament itself kicks off in the Philippines.
