More than 30 people injured after car drove into German carnival parade - Bild

BERLIN (Reuters) - More than 30 people have been injured after a car drove into a carnival parade in the German town of Volkmarsen, German newspaper Bild said on Monday.

It said around a third of those hurt had been seriously injured. Police could not be immediately reached for comment on those numbers.

Police said on Twitter that all carnival parades in the western state of Hesse - in which Volkmarsen is located - had been called off as a precautionary measure.
