Morgan Wade is ready to rock and roll!

In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE tied to her partnership with Brooks Running for the brand's Let's Run There campaign, the country music star, 29, also opens up about touring with Alanis Morissette and Joan Jett this summer.

"My agents called me. They're like, 'Hey, Alanis would like for you to come do this tour with her and Joan Jett.' I mean, what do you really say during that moment, because it's two legends right there that you get to go spend a lot of time with for a two-month period," Wade recalls.

Noting that she is "really grateful that I'm able to go out and learn from them and be around them," the singer raves, "I get to watch Alanis Morissette and Joan Jett every night. That's not a bad way to live for the next three months."

According to Wade, working alongside Morissette, 49, and Jett, 65, during the "You Oughta Know" crooner's Triple Moon Tour is going to be an experience like no other.

"Both of these women are so unique in their own way and true to who they are," she says. "That's so important."

Adds the "Fall in Love with Me" star: "Both of them are legends. I couldn't be more excited for this lineup."

While she counts herself a fan of Morissette and Jett's vast and iconic discographies, Wade says she does have a favorite song from both musicians.

"Man, you can't really go wrong with 'Hand in My Pocket.' That's such a great song," Wade says of Morissette's 1995 hit.

As for Jett? Wade says her single "Bad Reputation" is always a go-to jam. "That song comes on, and you're like, 'All right. All right. I'm going to go in here and f--- some s--- up,' " she says with a laugh.

Teasing her own set during the tour, Wade tells PEOPLE, "I'm going to have to definitely play more into the rock side of things."

"I mean, it's a run with Alanis Morissette and Joan Jett," she continues. "Our slot will come, we'll just jump right into it and try to get everybody pumped up, because Joan's going to come out there next and rock everybody's faces off, and then the same with Alanis."

The 31-date tour spans across North America, kicking off in Phoenix on June 9 and continuing through the summer until it wraps up on Aug. 10 in Inglewood, California, at the Kia Forum. Wade — who is set to release new music later this year — will play alongside the music icons in major cities including Dallas, Nashville, Toronto and Denver.
