‘Morning Show’ Season 4 Casts Marion Cotillard

Marion Cotillard has signed on for a role in “The Morning Show” Season 4, Variety has learned.

The Oscar winner will appear in the new season of the Apple TV+ series alongside stars Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston as well as cast members Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Jon Hamm, and Nicole Beharie.

Cotillard will star as Celine Dumont, described as “a savvy operator from a storied European family.”

This will be one of the few TV roles Cotillard has held in her career. She won the Academy Award for best actress for “La Vie En Rose” in 2008. She was nominated in the same category in 2015 for “Two Days, One Night.” Her other notable film roles include “Brother and Sister,” “From the Land of the Moon,” “Macbeth,” “Midnight in Paris,” “The Dark Knight Rises,” and “Inception.”

Cotillard is repped by Agence Adequat in France and by CAA and Narrative in the U.S.

Season 3 of “The Morning Show” aired on Apple between September and November 2023. The show was renewed for its fourth season ahead of the Season 3 premiere.

“The Morning Show” was developed by Kerry Ehrin. Aniston and Witherspoon both serve as executive producers in addition to starring. Witherspoon executive produces via Hello Sunshine, Candle Media company, along with Lauren Neustadter, while Aniston executive produces under her Echo Films banner with Kristin Hahn. Charlotte Stoudt serves as executive producer and showrunner under her overall deal with Apple TV+. Mimi Leder is executive producer and director, also under her overall deal. Micheal Ellenberg executive produces, with Media Res producing.
