This Morning's Alison Hammond makes "emotional" admission about co-star
This Morning host Alison Hammond has made an "emotional" admission about her co-star Josie Gibson.
Josie was recently announced as a cast member for the 23rd series of I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, and entered the jungle this week.
A video clip of Josie was played on This Morning on Thursday (November 16), and the footage had an impact on Alison as she realised she wouldn't be seeing her colleague for a few weeks.

"It's actually made me emotional because I speak to Josie nearly every single day and like I can't speak to her, it's horrible!" she remarked (via OK! Magazine), before revealing she advised Josie to take a burner phone with her following her own stint on the show in 2010.
Though Josie's absence on This Morning will only be temporary, the show recently lost a core member of its presenting cast, with Holly Willoughby quitting the show after 14 years in the lead role.
She has maintained a low profile following her exit, though former co-star Dr Ranj Singh recently teased that she will be making her television comeback sooner rather than later.
"Of course she will come back to TV. She's too good not to. I don't know where or what show, but she's so good at it, it would be a shame for her to back away completely," he said, before revealing that he reached out to Holly following her difficult time.

"I messaged Holly just to check she was okay," he said. "Everything that's happened with her has been really tough. We all reached out and just wanted to make sure she's all right. She replied and she's good."
"Obviously it's a really difficult place for her to be in and she made a really difficult decision, but the kind thing to do is to reach out and just check in."
