Most blogged artists: James Blake, Austra

On Friday, March 8, James Blake is causing excitement among music bloggers with the release of "Digital Lion," pushing him straight into first place on the Hype Machine's most blogged artists chart, while Canadian electro act Austra re-enters the chart in eighth place.

English electro-musician James Blake's "Digital Lion," which features renowned British musician Brian Eno, is the second (after "Retrograde") to be released from his forthcoming album "Overgrown," which drops on April 5/8 (UK/USA) and has been widely praised by music bloggers. We All Want Someone To Shout For describes the track as an "eclectic mix of soulful sounds" while Soft Signal describes it as "propulsive and vaguely ethereal."

Also on the Hype Machine's chart is Toronto-based electro outfit Austra, which has just announced the release of the album "Olympia," due out June 18. In addition to announcing the forthcoming album, a follow up to 2011's debut "Feel it Break," the band dropped the album's lead single, "Home. " Music blog One For The People describes the track, which is about waiting up late at night for a lover to come home, as " far more mature and balanced than anything previously witnessed on 'Feel It Break,'" while The Boy With A Sword In His Side describes "Home" as "a deceptively danceable ditty that we hadn't quite heard before but has a delectable charm all its own."
