Most blogged artists: James Blake, MØ

James Blake is among the Hype Machine's most blogged artists on January 20 after revealing a brand new track as part of a BBC Radio 1 residency, and fans can now hear a new track from MØ's debut album after that, too, aired on BBC Radio 1.

British electronic musician James Blake treated viewers to the premiere of "40455," his first new music since his Mercury Prize win. Blake aired the track during a residency on BBC Radio 1 that also saw him share a remix of Beyoncé's "Drunk in Love."

"The song is a simply performed track that contains a simple drum beat along with some pretty piano chords, but most importantly his haunting vocals," writes Prefix of "40455."

Danish alt-pop singer Karen Marie Ørsted, aka MØ, is set to release her debut LP, "No Mythologies to Follow," and the track "Don't Wanna Dance" from that album is now available after BBC Radio 1 Zane Lowe shared it as the "hottest record in the world."

"'Don't Wanna Dance' is a jazzier, soulful turn from the edgy electropop we're used to hearing from her; here she delightfully veers into what's almost Scandinavian Amy Winehouse territory," writes All Things Go Music.

"MØ once again heavily strips her sound, eschewing disco vibes and undulating synths for the slightly updated groove of some jangly '60s girl-group ballad," says Consequence of Sound.
