Motion Picture Association Appoints Patrick Wolf as Chief Accounting Officer

Patrick Wolf was hired as chief accounting officer at the Motion Picture Association. The corporate finance and accounting executive will lead the MPA’s worldwide financial planning and reporting functions.

Based out of the Los Angeles office, he will report to Hunter Paletsas, executive vice president and global chief financial officer of the MPA.

He most recently served as chief financial officer at the Cinq Music Group, a music distribution, record label and rights management company. During his time there, he sourced financing and led due diligence efforts for the company’s music catalog transactions, with deals ranging from $5 million to $135 million. Additionally, Wolf led strategic efforts for Cinq’s treasury, financial reporting and royalty accounting functions.

Wolf previously served as corporate controller at GoDigital Media Group and an auditor at Deloitte & Touche. Graduating from the University of Southern Calif., he earned master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accounting.
