Mozambique vs Ghana: AFCON prediction, kick-off time, team news, TV, live stream, h2h results, odds today

Ghana must tonight beat Mozambique if they are to avoid a second successive group-stage exit at the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Black Stars crashed out after finishing bottom of their AFCON group two years and they are in danger of doing so again, having picked up just one point from their opening two matches.

A defeat to Cape Verde immediately put them under pressure and while they twice took the lead against Egypt, they only picked up a point to leave them with significant work to do.

Victory over Mozambique in their final Group B match would leave Ghana on four points. While that not be enough to go straight through to the knockout stages, it would almost certainly qualify as one of the four best third-placed teams.

Mozambique sit bottom of the group but level on points with Ghana, and know they still have hope of reaching the last-16 for the first time.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Mozambique vs Ghana prediction

Ghana are now on a six-match winless run at the Africa Cup of Nations and they will on the first flight home if that becomes seven.

The Black Stars have put themselves under huge pressure, but they can take some confidence from what was a largely positive performance against Egypt.

Kudus' return brought a real threat to Ghana's attack and if they can cut out the silly mistakes at the back, they can edge a nervy encounter.

Ghana to win, 1-0.
