Myleene Klass has spikes removed from her bum by assistant after falling on cactus

Musician had to halt photoshoot when she fell on the prickly prop and had spikes embedded in her bottom

Myleene Klass found herself in a prickly situation when she had an unfortunate accident while posing for her latest ad campaign.

Klass, 45, was wearing a pink lace crop top and black thong as she stepped in front of the camera for a photoshoot for footwear brand Skechers when the incident happened.

The star was posing when she accidentally slipped and fell - landing on a cactus that was being used as a prop for the shoot.

She was then seen laughing and smiling on Instagram as one assistant armed weigh a pair of tweezers set about removing spikes from the plant from her bare bottom.

Seeing the funny side to the painful mishap she said: ”This is a first. Today on my shoot I fell onto some CACTI!! Yup!”

Klass then thanked the shoot team for going “beyond the call of duty” as they all resumed work.

Fans will be hoping to see more of Myleene getting herself in trouble when she joins the cast of I’m A Celebrity: All Stars on Monday, 24 April.

Klass originally appeared on the show back in 2006 where she finished as runner-up losing out on the jungle crown to Busted star Matt Willis.

The former Hear’Say star went down in I’m A Celeb history following her appearance on the show when she wore a white bikini in the shower in what would become an iconic scene.

Klass previously revealed how the legendary bikini was a last minute purchase before she entered the camp after producers told her she had to wear something plain on screen.

She explained: "I remember one of the show's producers looking at my bikinis in the hotel before I went to camp. One was covered in stripes and they said, ‘We’ll have to stop at the shops as that’s probably going to strobe on camera’.

"I ran into the shop en route to the jungle and asked the shop assistant for the plainest bikini she had. Best $40 I ever spent!"
