HBO’s massively popular series “House of The Dragon,” a prequel for the similarly popular “Game of Thrones,” is getting a new pair of shoes. In a collaborative partnership unveiled today, footwear company Nalebe has worked with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to release two pairs of boots inspired by the show.

“Much like House of the Dragon’s iconic characters, these boots embody strength, resilience, and fearlessness,” Nalebe creative director Amina Means said in a release. “I wanted to bring these characters to life; not only are they strong women with deep family ties, but they represent an enduring spirit that I admire.”

The show’s second season, which premieres Sunday, revolves around a face off between so called teams black and green. Black represents the House Targaryen, headed by Rhaenyra Targaryen. Green represents House Hightower, headed by Alicent Hightower. The two were childhood friends that will now face off for control of the realm.

This plays out in the shoes which were handcrafted by Italian artisans in Parabiago, Italy. Both pairs are made of a soft-skived kid suede with over 20,000 Preciosa crystals, more than 5,000 of which were applied by hand. Each boot takes more than 18 working hours. One pair of the slouchy boots, which feature a pointed toe and modest heel are green and the other style is black.

The collaboration will go on sale June 16, along with the season launch and will be made-to-order. The boots will retail for $3,900.

This is not the first time that Nalebe has worked with Warner Bros. The Black-owned brand teamed up with Saks and Warner Bros. in July of 2023 to create two styles in honor of Wonder Woman. They included a silk platform sandal as well as a denim ankle boot.
