Naomi Watts Channels Vintage Look in Pointed Pumps and Halter Dress at ‘Feud: Capote vs. The Swans’ FYC Event

Naomi Watts was spotted wearing a pair of sharp pointed pumps at the For Your Consideration event for FX’s “Feud: Capote vs. The Swans” at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
The pumps were crafted in patent leather material, blending together elements of vintage and modern-day fashion. Featuring an angular pointed-toe design, the British actress kept her monochromatic look minimalistic in its design, as the pumps were completed by a slim stiletto heel with an estimated height of between 3 and 4 inches in height. As for the rest of her outfit, Watts wore a matching strapless halter dress, which she accessorized with a small pair of earrings. Fashioning a short 1960s-style haircut, she also elected to keep her makeup simple with pink lipstick.
In April, the actress was joined by her 15-year-old daughter Kai Schreiber for the Christian Dior pre-fall 2024 show in Brooklyn, New York. For the event, the star chose a pair of platform shoes that featured an open-toe design, a mesh upper and gold detailing rimming the cutout. This past October, Watts attended the New York City Ballet’s 2023 Fall Fashion Gala in a pair of black Leather 80 sandal heels from Carolina Herrera. Retailing for $595, the heel was comprised of a strap-heavy construction that featured glossy patent leather uppers, red soles and rounded toes.
For her wedding to actor Billy Crudup last summer, Watts completed her wedding outfit with a pair of metallic gold Gianvito Rossi sandals that featured smooth kappa leather uppers with thin, rounded soles, as well as simple toe and buckled ankle straps alongside a 4.1-inch stiletto heel.
FX’s “Feud: Capote Vs. the Swans” chronicles writer Truman Capote’s conflict with a group of elite women in high society. The series was created by Ryan Murphy, Jaffe Cohen, and Michael Zam.
