On a late-night walk with Trevor, Haz and Mackenzie come across Melanie being tormented by the hooligans. When Melanie starts shouting back, she cops a face full of liquid muck and cruel laughter, leaving her humiliated and in despair.
While Mackenzie is determined to unleash the full force of the law on the hooligans, Melanie doesn't want to report the incident, nor does she want anyone to know about it.
Later, an overwhelmed Melanie makes a huge decision.
Meanwhile, Haz and Mackenzie pull together to support Melanie. Feeling the warmth, Mackenzie broaches another conversation with him on their feelings. Although the unresolved sexual tension is simmering, Haz chickens out, thinking Holly proved to him he's not ready for a relationship, and he'd hate to ruin his friendship with Mackenzie.
Covering her chagrin, Mackenzie agrees that she's not ready either, leaving Haz privately disappointed too.
Later, Haz overreacts when he thinks Trevor has been taken. Following the false alarm, Haz acknowledges that keeping Trevor confined to the house out of fear hasn't been healthy for either of them, and admits he needs to contact Trevor's other owners.
Elsewhere, Cara and Remi's dinner with Aaron and David is interrupted by a surprise visitor – Cara's sister, Chelsea. While Cara is thrilled, Remi's enthusiasm is much more tempered.
The next morning, Remi is miffed to hear that Chelsea has been giving JJ pointers on how to win over his crush Sadie and is left feeling on the outer when Cara doesn't back up her concerns. Remi's frustrations grow when she comes across Chelsea catching up with David and Aaron – feeling as though her sister-in-law is inserting herself into all aspects of her life.
When a frustrated Remi vents that she thinks Cara's a different person around Chelsea, Cara points out how much it means to her to have time with her sister – and it won't be forever.
Later, Cara is moved to learn that Chelsea is thinking about a permanent move to the area to spend more time with her. Cara is full of hopeful anticipation, unaware that Chelsea secretly fires up a secret folder on her laptop with information about the Robinson family.
