Neighbours - how to watch the show's new season
It's the day we thought we'd never see – new episodes of Neighbours are finally here.
The iconic Australian soap seemed dead and buried last year when Channel 5 pulled out as the UK broadcast partner, leading to the star-studded "final ever" episode in July 2022.
Just months later, news broke that Amazon Freevee had stepped in to save Neighbours by commissioning brand new episodes.
Let's face it, fans have had nearly a year since then to figure out what Amazon Freevee is and how to watch it, but no judgement here if you've left it to the last minute. Look no further for all the information you need.
How to watch new Neighbours on Amazon Freevee
Neighbours fans in the UK (and a potential new audience in the US) will be able to watch the show on Amazon Freevee from today – Monday, September 18.
First thing's first – Amazon Freevee is a completely free streaming service, so you won't have to pay a penny to watch Neighbours.
While the most well-known streaming services like Netflix are known for their monthly subscription charges, Freevee is supported by advertisements and makes its money this way instead.
Amazon Freevee is available to download as a standalone app on many different devices. These include iOS and Android mobile devices, Amazon tablets, Fire TV devices, Android TV, Google TV, Xbox and PlayStation 5, as well as some smart TVs.
It's also possible to watch Freevee's content via the Prime Video app, where Amazon Freevee appears as a separate channel.
If all else fails, you can stream Freevee shows via your web browser on the Amazon website.
As well as the UK and US, Freevee is available to viewers in Germany and Austria.
New episodes of Neighbours will drop at 7am between Mondays and Thursdays, giving fans four episodes per week to enjoy. Don't worry if you're heading to work or enjoying a lie-in at that time – the episodes are available to stream 24/7, whenever is convenient for you.
If that's not enough, every episode of Neighbours from 2012 to 2022 is available on Freevee too, providing a dose of classic Ramsay Street action.
A selection of iconic episodes from the show's history are also streaming on Freevee, featuring classic moments and characters prior to 2012.
How to watch new Neighbours in Ireland
Neighbours fans in Ireland have the chance to watch the show the old-fashioned way, as it'll be returning to its old home of RTÉ One.
New episodes of Neighbours air at 2pm on the channel between Mondays and Thursdays.
How to watch new Neighbours in Australia
Neighbours was sadly relegated to digital channel 10 Peach in its final years on air in Australia, but the decision to move it back to the main channel for the 2022 finale paid off as ratings hit a 13-year high of 1.4 million.
Off the back of this success, Neighbours will return to the main channel in Australia with its new season. Episodes air at 4.30pm on Channel 10 between Mondays and Thursdays.
There'll also be a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.
After one week, fans in Australia will have a further catch-up opportunity, with episodes streaming on Prime Video.
