Netflix confirms release window for Squid Game season 2
Netflix has confirmed a release window for Squid Game season 2.
The South Korean series became a massive hit when it debuted in 2021, and stands as the streamer's most-watched show ever – even spawning a hit reality spin-off that aired last year.
Fans have been eagerly anticipating the follow-up season of the main show, however, and Netflix has now confirmed that it will finally be dropping this year, with production set to begin soon.

Squid Game season 2 will see the returns of original stars Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun and Gong Yoo, with a number of new cast additions joining the fold.
They include It's Okay Not to Be Okay's Park Gyu-young, singer Jo Yu-ri, Kang Ae-sim, Itaewon Class' Lee David, Sweet Home's Lee Jin-uk, rapper Choi Seung-hyun (aka TOP), Roh Jae-won, and If You Wish Upon Me's Won Ji-an.
