Netflix confirms Sex/Life future after season 2
Sex/Life spoilers follow.
Sex/Life has been dropped by Netflix after two seasons.
The steamy show stars Sarah Shahi as Billie Connelly, a married woman with kids whose suburban life takes a walk on the wild side as her ex enters her life again.
Deadline confirmed the cancellation news by relaying a Netflix spokesperson explaining the second season brought the story to its natural ending.

The spokesperson added that season two wrapped up storylines for key characters whose relationships come to a happy conclusion, ending with the fact that Netflix was proud of the show.
Fans might have seen the news coming after Shahi opened up about the tricky time she had on set for the second season.
Speaking on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, she said: "I definitely did not have the support that I did the first season.

"It became a much different thing for me, and I'm not afraid to say that. I struggled with the material. I mean, I'm never going to work for Netflix again now after saying all this. I just can't lie."
Sex/Life was inspired by the BB Easto book 44 Chapters About 4 Men and was created for television by Unreal's Stacy Rukeyser.
However, Shahi already has a new show lined up, starring in the ABC pilot of a legal drama Judgement.

Judgement has the Charmed reboot's showrunner Joey Falco onboard.
Shahi will play fictional Supreme Court nominee Mia Bahari, with the show's synopsis reading as: "A woman being considered for a seat on the Supreme Court recounts her experience inside a prominent D.C. law firm, with her love life and two feuding brothers being the most controversial thing."
