Netflix Officially Confirms Adam Sandler's 'Happy Gilmore 2'

Adam Sandler's beloved 1996 golf comedy Happy Gilmore is officially returning for a sequel. Announced by Netflix, Happy Gilmore 2 is finally happening and will see Sandler return as the original star. Sandler himself recently confirmed that it was in the works, but at the time he had only written a first draft of the screenplay. Now, it has found a home with the streaming giant, Netflix.

The sports comedy will see the return of Happy Gilmore, a hockey player who has anger management issues and takes up golf upon realizing his talent.
