Netflix has released the first trailer for Arnold, the upcoming documentary focusing on the career of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The three part series will cover the Austrian Oak's time as a bodybuilder, an actor and a politician. In the trailer we see Arnie talking about how injury led him to leave the world of physical competitions, and how he decided to move on from acting into politics because he wanted to challenge himself.

The documentary also delves into his personal life, with mention of how his affair with his maid devastated his family.

"People will remember my successes and they will also remember those failures," he said. "It was very tough on my marriage, on my relationship with the kids. I have caused enough pain for my family. I'm going to have to live with it for the rest of my life."

Before the documentary drops (in 12 days, on May 25, in fact), Netflix will premiere FUBAR, Arnie's first ever scripted television series. The series will feature him as a CIA agent who, upon his retirement, discovers that his grown-up daughter, played by Top Gun: Maverick star Monica Barbaro, is also secretly working for the CIA.

The two bump into each other on a mission together, in which they realise they know nothing about each other and learn to rebuild their relationship (and stop some bad guys along the way).

If the synopsis alone didn't clue you in to the show being a fun, silly action romp, the trailer definitely will, with lines like: "I've learned a ton from working with my dad: How he leads the team, how he keeps his cool, how to slit a man's throat vertically so he bleeds out faster."

You wouldn't have it any other way, would you?

Arnold will premiere on Netflix on June 7.
