NewsNation signs Geraldo Rivera as correspondent-at-large

Cable news channel NewsNation has inked a deal with longtime newscaster Geraldo Rivera, the network announced Wednesday.

Rivera will serve as correspondent-at-large effective immediately and will appear across the network’s daytime and prime-time programming, the outlet said.

“Geraldo is a legendary journalist whose talent and experience is unrivaled in the industry,” said Michael Corn, president of news at NewsNation, in a statement announcing Rivera’s hiring. “We look forward to him joining the network and providing our viewers with his one-of-a-kind analysis.”

Rivera spent two decades at Fox News as a correspondent and pundit, most recently serving as a co-host of table talk program “The Five.”

He has appeared a number of times as a guest on NewsNation over the past several months to comment on major political stories and other current events.

NewsNation is owned by Nexstar Media Group, which also owns The Hill.
