Nicole Kidman made her appearance at the Balenciaga haute couture fall 2024 show during Paris Fashion Week a family affair on Wednesday. The Oscar-winning actress was joined by her teenage daughter, Sunday Rose, for the recent fashion show, for which the mother-daughter pair coordinated their respective looks.

Kidman and her daughter opted for classic monochrome looks in a shade of black. Kidman opted for a sleek, floor-length dress with cap sleeves and a high neckline. The “Big Little Lies” star’s dress featured subtle, sparkling elements that glistened as cameras flashed while Kidman and her daughter had their photo taken along with other A-list attendees.

Kidman kept her accessories, hair and makeup very simple. The actress opted for minimal jewelry and chose instead to make her dress the centerpiece of her ensemble. Kidman’s long blond hair was styled in a straight look and worn down. She accessorized with a pair of black sunglasses.

Sunday Rose, 15, followed her mom’s lead and fashioned her own sophisticated little bl ack dress. The teenager, who Kidman shares with husband Keith Urban, wore a black velvety long-sleeve minidress with a high neckline and exaggerated shoulders.

The teenager paired the dress with tights and black heels to complete her look. She also accessorized with statement earrings and black sunglasses.

Kidman recently included Sunday Rose and her other daughter Faith Margaret in a red carpet moment last April. During the Oscar winning actress’ AFI Life Achievement Award Gala, members of the Kidman-Urban clan posed for photos together on the red carpet. For the occasion, Sunday Rose fashioned a silk floral gown from Monique Lhuillier’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection.

Kidman follows a trend of several high-profile stars bringing their children to major fashion events. For Dior’s pre-fall show in Brooklyn last April, Kidman’s close friend and fellow actress Naomi Watts brought her daughter, Kai, to join Watts front row at the event. Watts and her daughter were also seen at the Balenciaga haute couture show in Paris on Wednesday.

BERLIN (Reuters) -Mercedes-Benz is investing more than previously planned in combustion engine technology, including 14 billion euros ($15 billion) this year on its passenger cars, its chief executive told German publication Wirtschaftswoche. The premium carmaker was investing in factories and in research and development, reworking the drive train of its hybrid cars so that it "lasts well into the next decade", Ola Kaellenius said in comments published on Thursday. It had also spent "much more" than it usually would on a facelift of the combustion engine version of its flagship S-Class, due to hit the market in mid-2026.
