Nicole Kidman Hugs Bride Naomi Watts at Her 2nd Wedding to Billy Crudup in Mexico City: 'Best Weekend'

"Full of love and fun!!" Kidman wrote on her Instagram Stories post after celebrating the nuptials of her longtime friend Watts

Nicole Kidman is celebrating Naomi Watts on her special day!

On Tuesday, June 11, Kidman, 56, shared a cute black and white photo of herself posing with Watts, 55, at her second wedding to Billy Crudup in Mexico City on Saturday, June 8.

Kidman and Watts, who have been friends for decades, hugged one another in the sweet image shared to Kidman's Instagram Stories. Watts wore her stunning strappy bridal gown in the snap, while Kidman donned a glittering ensemble.

"Best wedding weekend in #MexicoCity full of love and fun!!" the Big Little Lies star wrote across the picture.

"Congrats to the beautiful bride and groom xx," she added at the bottom, tagging Watts and adding multiple heart emojis.

Kidman also shared another snap of herself posing in Mexico City, smiling next to a graffiti-covered wall while wearing a cream, ruffled top, matching jacket and jeans.

Kidman and Watts became friends after first meeting as teenagers at an audition for an '80s swimsuit commercial, the King King star recently revealed at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala on Saturday, April 27. The pair went on to star in the 1991 film Flirting together.

"We covered everything, what movies we loved, what friends we had in common, our parents, schools, parties, boyfriends, teenage stuff," she said about their first meeting at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, where Kidman received one of the most prestigious honors in cinema.

The Penguin Bloom actress and 55-year-old Crudup's second ceremony came after they first tied the knot in a New York City courthouse in June 2023.

In photos shared to actor Justin Theroux's Instagram Stories on Monday, June 10, Watts' 16-year-old son Sasha — whom she shares with ex Liev Schreiber, 56 — could be seen walking his mom down the aisle in a church. Watts also shares her son Kai, 15, with Schreiber.

Watts' brother, photographer Ben Watts, confirmed his sister was getting married over the weekend as he shared a video on Instagram showing the actress in an elevator wearing a white gown and holding a bouquet of flowers.

The wedding party, which appeared to include Crudup's son, William Parker, 20 — whom he shares with ex Mary-Louise Parker — smiled as the elevator doors slowly closed to reveal Ben filming on his phone in the reflection of its mirrored doors.

"Off they go Naomi x Billy x family #benwatts #scrapbooking," he wrote alongside the video, which was teamed with the Frank Sinatra classic "Love and Marriage."
