Nina Dobrev gives update after e-bike accident and hospitalization: 'Life looks a lil different lately'

Boyfriend Shaun White gave her a laugh when he showed support for her character on "The Vampire Diaries."

Nina Dobrev's recovery includes time in bed, time at the doctor's office, and love from her beau, Olympian snowboarder Shaun White.

The former star of The Vampire Diaries shared an update on Instagram, after explaining on May 20 that an outing on an e-bike sent her to the hospital. Her left leg remains in a brace.

In her post, Dobrev gave a peek into her current life: lying in bed with her dogs, visiting the doctor's office on crutches, and laughing at her boyfriend dancing around in a sweatshirt featuring a tribute to one of her TVD characters. The name "Elena Gilbert" and what appears to be various illustrations of her on the 2009-2017 series.

Dobrev captioned it, "Life looks a lil different lately," adding that she's "trading in the 'selfie' for the 'leggie.'" Dobrev teased that her followers should "get ready for the leg content because that's all I've got in my camera roll these days."

Representatives for Dobrev didn't immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly's request for comment.

Dobrev and White have been together since 2020, and they've given us a look into their cute relationship before, including Halloween in 2022, when they wore matching Stranger Things-themed costumes. She dressed as the villainous Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower), with a bodysuit and a terrifying mask, while he played Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink's character) in a very '80s ensemble that included a Walkman.
