Last month, Nina Dobrev was in the hospital after a gnarly-looking dirt bike accident. However, thanks to some rest, relaxation, and the doting attention of her beau Shaun White, it looks like the Vampire Diaries alumnae is well on her way to being back on her feet—figuratively, at least. In a new carousel of photos and videos, Dobrev shared White's unorthodox methods of nursing, which involve him cheering her up while wearing a white sweatshirt with Elena Gilbert's face on it.

"Gilbert," White says while laughing in a video Dobrev shared on June 2. He also showed off a few of his dance moves while wearing the Vampire Diaries merch. "I love you Gilly."

"You're out of your mind," Dobrev can be heard in the background of the clip. "I love it."

"Life looks a lil different lately," the actress captioned her post. "Trading in the ‘selfie' for the ‘leggie.' Get ready for the leg content because that's all I've got in my camera roll these days."

White was present and accounted for in the comments, writing, "Just keeping things on brand."

Other images in the carousel showed Dobrev's cast, a visit to a doctor's office, and a mirror selfie with a set of crutches. Dobrev's accident happened back on May 20, so she's only been recovering for a few weeks—and it looks like there may still be some time to go before she slips into heels and makes a return to the red carpet.

If laughter is the best medicine, White seems to be doling out plenty of it as Dobrev recovers. It's unclear whether or not the laughs include a re-watch of The Vampire Diaries, which Dobrev appeared in for six seasons, including a quick return to her role of Elena Gilbert for the series finale (never forget how she also played Katherine Pierce and Amara).

“I’m OK but it’s going to be a long road of recovery ahead,” Dobrev shared with her followers shortly after her accident. She added, “I think it’s safe to say my first time on a dirt bike will also be my last lol.”
