Nina Dobrev reveals she broke her knee, damaged ACL and meniscus in dirt biking accident: 'I learned a lesson'

The "Vampire Diaries" alum explained on "The Talk" that she landed on one leg after attempting a trick.

Nina Dobrev, in her first TV appearance since her scary accident last month, just shared the gruesome details of all the injuries she attained.

"I was dirt biking for the first time and it did not go well. I don't recommend it, guys," the Vampire Diaries alum said in the above video of Wednesday's edition of The Talk. "It's OK, I learned a lesson, don't ever get on a dirt bike."

Dobrev said, "I was in a wheely, lost control, whisky throttled, bike flew, luckily it didn't fall on me, which is what the doctor said would have been a lot worse. But when I landed, I landed on one leg, straight, and my knee just like snapped."

The result was painful.

"I had knee surgery, I got a giant brace I can't really walk on my own yet...I had a fractured knee as well as ACL repair and meniscus," Dobrev said.

She said going to the show was her first time leaving her house in two months.

"Cuddle puddle is my life these days," she said. "It's just the puppies, and at home watching movies, physical therapy, eat, sleep, or pee is kind of the schedule."

Her latest addiction is Fargo, the anthology crime dramedy that debuted in 2015. The fifth season, which starred Juno Temple, Lamorne Morris, and Jon Hamm, concluded in January.

"I called my agents, I love it, I'm so obsessed with the show, I'm like you have to get me on this show," Dobrev said. "And they're like that's from a decade ago, you're too late."

Actually, another season of the FX series has not been ruled out, although it's unclear when Dobrev will be healthy enough to go back to work. Her movie Reunion, a thriller about former high school classmates who discover a murder, costarring Jillian Bell, Jamie Chung, Chace Crawford, Lil Rel Howery, and Billy Magnussen, will be available on digital June 28.
