No Paps, Please! Hawk Dive-Bombs Birdwatcher Filming Video
A self-confessed “bird nerd” got a bit of a shock while filming a pair of hawks in Austin, Texas, recently, when one of them swooped directly into her.
Footage posted to TikTok on May 17 by Stephanie Federico shows the hawk swooping down towards her at rapid speed.
“I was just taking a walk through my neighborhood when I spotted a hawk up in a tree. Another hawk joined it, so I was all excited watching them,” Federico told Storyful.
“I am a bird nerd, so I decided to take a video. That’s when one swooped down and whacked me on the side of the head,” she said.
Luckily, she managed to escape the attack relatively unscathed.
