Normal People's Daisy Edgar-Jones shares season 2 hopes after Paul Mescal reunion
Normal People star Daisy Edgar-Jones has revealed she would be up for a second season.
The actor who played Marianne Sheridan in the hit 2020 BBC Three series shared what she knew about a possible second season - almost a month-on from her recent reunion with co-star Paul Mescal.
"No there is no season two that I know of!" Edgar-Jones told Entertainment Tonight in a new interview. "It was really special, I love those characters and that world, I would love to revisit where they are ten years later."

The two teased they had some "news to share" in late May, with fans excitedly expecting a season two announcement. However, the pair later confirmed they were instead joining forces again for a charity auction.
"Hello, The news is, and we are incredibly sorry if we led people on, it's not a season two," said an apologetic Mescal in their joint Instagram video at the time.
Edgar-Jones added: 'Not yet! There's still time; keep the faith!"

Normal People was the most-streamed TV series for the BBC in 2020, with the show - based on Sally Rooney's book of the same name - having been watched 62 million times.
In 2022, Edgar-Jones admitted she had no idea how successful the show was going to be at the time of filming.
"When I did Normal People, I had no idea what was going to happen and thank goodness, as I would have been too terrified to do anything," she said in an appearance on The Graham Norton Show.
The Normal People star has made the move to movies since the show's success, appearing in the film adaptation of Where The Crawdads Sing and thriller Fresh.
Edgar-Jones is next on screen in Twisters alongside Anyone But You's Glen Powell, in the semi-sequel to the hugely popular 1996 tornado film. The follow-up lands in UK cinemas on July 19.
