Norway PM says Norwegian citizen taken hostage in Syria

OSLO (Reuters) - A Norwegian citizen has been taken hostage in Syria, Prime Minister Erna Solberg said on Wednesday. "This is a serious and complicated case. Our goal is to get our citizen safely home to Norway," Solberg told national news agency NTB. A crisis group at the foreign ministry has worked on the case for some time, NTB said.
