O.J. Simpson Investigation Records Released By FBI

The documents from the FBI’s double murder investigation of football star and actor O.J. Simpson have been released.

Some 475 pages of documents related to the 1994 homicides of Simpson’s former wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman are now available for public scrutiny.

Simpson was acquitted of the murders in a sensational trial that captivated the nation. He died of prostate cancer in April at age 76.

The documents were previously available through Freedom of Information Act requests. But the release now marks the first time the collection has been made widely available to the public.

Pages of the documents focused on the purchase of a pair of Italian luxury Bruno Magli men’s shoes. The documents detailed the size 12 shoes, which were a key to the investigation of bloody shoe prints at the murder scene.

The documents also discuss swatches of fabric, including fibers from the notorious white Ford Bronco that Simpson used to flee police after being served arrest warrants.

FBI files also list photographs, but the shots were not provided in the release of documents.
