Offset Wishes Migos Bandmate Quavo a Happy 33rd Birthday amid Feud Rumors: 'Love You'
In June, the duo took the stage together at the BET Awards to perform a tribute to their late bandmate Takeoff
Offset is shutting down rumors of an alleged beef with his Migos bandmate Quavo.
On Tuesday, he wished Quavo a happy birthday on social media, proving there's still love.
“Happy gday my brother @quavohuncho love you 4L [for life]," Offset, 32, shared on his Instagram Stories, according to HipHopDX. He included a throwback photo of the trio — which also includes the late Takeoff — who formed in 2008.
In October, the "Power Moves" artist opened up about his relationship with Quavo, 33, during an episode of The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 FM.
“That's my brother at the end of the day,” the rap star said of Quavo. “We're good, though, bro. We were just with each other in Paris. We be talking because we be going through emotions and s--- with this s---.”
The rapper also said that they kept in touch since their collaborator and Quavo’s nephew Takeoff tragically died at age 28 by gun violence in November 2022.
“It don't be for the public. That's the thing. Like when it's like this, it don't be everything for the public to be kiki-ing. And everybody want us to be — but we still got to move in our own worlds, but it's all love," he said.
He continued, “At the end of the day, we lost a brother; we can’t rock out.”
In June, the duo took the stage at the BET Awards for the first time since Takeoff's death — and he explained he was hesitant to do so.
It wasn't until Pharrell Williams talked him into it that he decided to go through with it. “I had talked to Pharrell, we were sitting at a [Paris Fashion Week] show, and I was telling him like, ‘Man, I don't know if we should do it because this just ain't gonna be right, and I feel like I'm scared it's gonna put me back in that moment.’”
“[Williams] was like, ‘No, you gotta do that for the world and him,’” Offset continued. “'Y’all the biggest group ever in hip-hop. And also, he would want that, bro.' He was like, ‘You need that energy of you and your brother rocking that stage again, even if it’s for the last time or whatever.”

After Offset did it, he felt "good about it" and "closed the chapter the right way, a big way with love."
“If you go into something with the wrong energy, you ain’t gonna do it right. We went into it with the right energy, and that’s my brother," he said.
In February 2023, Offset and Quavo allegedly got into a physical altercation backstage at the Grammy Awards in February. TMZ reported that the incident happened just before Quavo took the stage for Takeoff's tribute performance. After the award show, Offset shut down rumors that they were fighting on X (formerly Twitter).
Their alleged beef stems back to 2022 when Quavo and Takeoff released music as a duo, which they penned as Unc & Phew. Together they released an album titled Only Built for Infinity Links.
