Ogaga signs 3SC extension

Thika entertain Sony Sugar

Moses Ogaga has signed a new contract with Shooting Stars FC until the end of the 2012/13 season, ending speculation of a January switch to Warri Wolves. The Nigerian striker joined 3SC on loan from relegated Jigawa at the end of last season, although he had been linked with a permanent move to his hometown club Wolves, where he has previously plied his trade. However, Ogaga, nephew of former 3SC ace David Ogaga, has opted to remain with Stars, who finished the 2011/12 Nigerian Premier League campaign in 13th. "3SC is a big club and I'm excited to have agreed a new deal with the club," he told SuperSport. "The fans of the club have been wonderful since my arrival from Jigawa. I actually spent sometime at Wolves, but decided to spend more time here."
