The One Show host Alex Jones had viewers and studio guests giggling yesterday (June 8) after making an off-the-cuff sexual innuendo about her friendship with Strictly Come Dancing winner Harry Judd.

Actors Robert Carlyle and Talitha Wing, stars of the upcoming Disney+ sequel to The Full Monty, joined Alex and co-host Ronan Kemp in The One Show studio, alongside McFly band members Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd.

Whilst discussing the soon-to-be-released The Full Monty TV series, Alex turned the conversation to McFly drummer Judd, to share his connection to the famous 1997 film.

Back in June 2017, Judd took part in ITV's The Real Full Monty, a charity striptease with other celebrities to raise awareness of prostate cancer, and mark the 20th anniversary of the movie.

"We can't do this interview without... Harry, you know all about this because you did the Full Monty for charity, didn't you?" Jones began.

"We've got a lovely picture," she continued, as an image of a topless Judd in action appeared on the screen, causing the pop star to cringe and hide his face in his hands.

Presenter Kemp saw the opportunity to tease his One Show co-host, joking that the shirtless Judd photo "was Alex's screensaver on her phone".

Wanting to dismiss the comment, Alex replied: "That's so weird, we go to the park together". She then collapsed with laughter, quickly clarifying that the park trips were with their children, realising the initial innuendo she'd made.

"Don't tell them that live on telly," a chuckling Judd responded, as everyone in the studio continued to giggle at Alex's blunder.

Ever the professional, the presenter quickly moved the conversation on and back to Judd's experience doing the charity striptease. Judd shared how it was a "terrifying" experience, adding that he was "leaving it there" unless she wanted to comment further about their park trips.

"I'm not going to say anything else. I'm literally going to wrap the show up right now," she responded as the show headed to the end credits.

The One Show airs weeknights on BBC1 at 7pm and is available to catch up on BBC iPlayer after.
