The news about Vaughn’s disappearance comes just weeks after Oregon’s Portland Police Bureau announced that a teen who was earlier reported missing had been located.

According to authorities, Emily Brallier, 16, was last seen leaving Franklin High School on Jan. 2 but hadn’t returned home in the area of Southeast Woodstock Boulevard and Southeast 65th Avenue.

Family and police were concerned since Brallier was off her medication, said the Portland Police Bureau.

However, per a Jan. 5 update, the Portland Police Bureau’s Missing Persons Unit was notified that Brallier was found the night before in the city of Hillsboro. “Thanks to all who helped look for her,” authorities said.
