Police said the two occupants, 74-year-old Alvin Crosby and 72-year-old Suzanne Parent, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers have since cleared the site, which took place in the area of Kellogg and Massey roads, northwest of the town's centre.
Currently, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
“The occurrence is being assessed and a decision to investigate or not will follow once preliminary analysis of information has been completed,” TSB spokesperson Sophie Wistaff said in an email to CTV News Ottawa. “It is too early now to say what the causes and contributing factors might be.”
Wistaff added that two people from TSB were sent to the scene to collect data, interview witnesses and examine the wreckage.
At this time, no other details have been released by police.
