The entire world is keeping up with Kate Middleton on her journey to recovery after announcing her cancer diagnosis in March. Fans are wondering when she'll return to her duties and in what capacity, and now people are even theorizing where the royal is receiving her treatment. Reddit threads and TikTok users have suggested that Middleton is at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas after a post alleged that she stayed at the St. Regis Hotel in Houston.

Kensington Palace, however, shut down the rumors by telling The Houston Chronicle that the Princess of Wales is not being treated in the United States. Plus, the BBC confirmed to local news station KHOU that royal sources say Middleton has not left the U.K. since her diagnosis.

Although Middleton is reportedly still across the pond and in town for this weekend's Trooping the Colour festivities, royal author Katie Nicholl said it's “incredibly unlikely" that the princess will attend. Despite initial reports that Middleton was considering making a surprise appearance, Nicholl said that the royal has "made it very clear that she wants to stay out of the spotlight."

"She needs this period and below the radar for her recovery," the expert told Entertainment Tonight. "We’re so used to seeing her up on that balcony.”

Middleton and Prince William's kids—Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte—could still be attending, however. After all, the three young royals have been attending the celebration for years.

“They’ve been up there several times now,” Nicholl explained. “They are always impeccably behaved, often entertaining, and they always seem to enjoy it. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if William makes the decision to bring them.”
