Pandora, the jewellery brand that is well-known in Singapore for their customisable charm bracelets, launched their new spring collection on Thursday (16 March). The new line features pastel colours and floral designs, keeping with the light and bright palette of spring.

Launched on the same day were new additions to Pandora’s existing Disney collection, Tinkerbell, Winnie the Pooh, Donald Duck and Beauty and the Beast (just in time for the movie’s release on the same day). The Pandora Rose and Mother’s Day lines were also announced for release in end March and mid-April respectively.

All these collections were launched as part of Pandora’s “DO” campaign, which aims to “inspire women to be true to themselves and what they believe in”.

The “DO” attitude is expressed through ‘passion points’ such as music, gastronomy, travel and lifestyle, art and design, beauty and style and activism.

For this, the popular Danish jewellery label rounded up women that they felt embodied what the “DO” collection is about – blogger Andrea Chong, chef Janice Wong and actress Belinda Lee, who attended the launch wearing their favourite pieces from the brand.

All three women favoured the yet-to-be-released Pandora Rose collection, with Lee choosing the spring collection’s “Signature” series as her other favourite.

“I always wanted to be a jewellery designer when I was younger. But I couldn’t even sketch or draw,” she added with a laugh. When asked about how much jewellery she owned; blogger Chong admitted she has “a big enough collection” that she can’t find what she needs sometimes.

Meanwhile, Chef Wong, who is also known as Singapore’s dessert queen, said, “I have a few pieces from Pandora that I received as gifts from my mum and good friends. I think they make good gifts.”

Pandora jewellery is sold in over 100 countries and the brand has 19 stores in Singapore.
