Pangina Heals has confirmed that she will return as host for the upcoming third season of Drag Race Thailand.

The drag artist, who previously co-hosted the show alongside Art Arya, shared the news on X (formerly Twitter) this week, much to the excitement of fans across the world.

"I am stepping back as the HOST of Drag Race Thailand universe after 4 years of waiting!!!" she wrote.

Drag Race Thailand has aired two seasons so far, but it hasn’t been on our screens since 2019, so it will be a welcome return for one of the most-loved international editions of the franchise.

In 2022, Pangina broke new ground and went from host to contestant when she took part in the first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs the World, where she competed alongside other international queens.

"Since her turn as a co-host of Drag Race Thailand, Pangina has gone around the world collecting appearances on Drag Race the way Thanos collected Infinity Stones, wowing audiences and cementing her reputation as a global superstar," World of Wonder co-founders Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato said in a press release.

"We are thrilled to welcome her back as the host of the much anticipated and long-awaited Drag Race Thailand season."

As well as confirming that Drag Race Thailand would return in 2024, Pangina also confirmed that season 2 of her food-based chat show Tongue Thai’d will premiere on December 4, exclusively on WOW Presents Plus.

The new season will welcome a range of new guests, including the UK’s own Blu Hydrangea.

Last year, Pangina spoke exclusively to Digital Spy about the lack of Asian representation in the Drag Race franchise.

"We do feel like we want to be represented," she said. "A lot of the times, we don’t see enough of us. I’m really excited to see more."

Drag Race Thailand and Tongue Thai’d will air on WOW Presents Plus in the UK.
