Patrick J. Adams says Suits could be headed for the big screen.

On Sunday, June 2, Adams and several of his costars from the legal drama, including Sarah Rafferty, Dulé Hill, Abigail Spencer and Amanda Schull, reunited at the ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas, to mark five years since the show's series finale.

Adams was asked by an audience member about the possibility of a Suits movie, as other USA network shows have been turned into cinematic projects.

"Yes, and I say that being a person who has no power or authority, but obviously there's a Suits: L.A. show that is being made that is the focus of [Suits creator] Aaron [Korsh]. I think he would agree," said the actor, 42.

"But it's definitely something he's interested in doing, in trying to get the band back together," he added of Korsh.

Adams went on to say that a Suits movie is "gonna depend on a million things if that can happen."

"But is it possible? I think it is possible," he said.

The show follows Ted Black (Stephen Amell), a former federal prosecutor from New York who “has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles,” per the official logline.

Late last month, Lex Scott Davis was cast in the upcoming legal procedural drama as Erica Rollins, the "savvy and strong-willed rising star who works for Ted Black," per Deadline. In a conversation with PEOPLE in March, Davis opened up about how the Suits resurgence had breathed new life into the franchise.

“So [Suits] has this resurgence that everyone's excited about. And so, the news about dropping Suits L. A. is just, it's going crazy,” she said. “And I love it. It's so much fun. I can't wait to actually get started.”
