Peacock Drops ‘Apples Never Fall’ Trailer, The Limited Series Starring Annette Bening & Sam Neill

Peacock has released the full trailer of Apples Never Fall, the limited series starring Annette Bening and Sam Neill, based on Liane Moriarty’s bestselling novel.

“You can spend a lifetime with someone as a wife or as a mother, but you can never really know who they are,” Bening’s Joy says in the trailer.

The series revolves around the seemingly picture-perfect Delaney family, anchored by former tennis coaches Stan (Neill) and Joy (Bening), who have sold their successful tennis academy and are ready to start what should be the golden years of their lives.

Jake Lacy, Alison Brie, Conor Merrigan-Turner, Essie Randles play Stan and Joy’s adult children in the 7-episode series written and executive produced by Melanie Marnich.

The logline for the show says that “everything changes when a wounded young woman knocks on Joy and Stan’s door, bringing the excitement they’ve been missing. But when Joy suddenly disappears, her children are forced to re-examine their parents’ so-called perfect marriage as their family’s darkest secrets begin to surface.”

Georgia Flood, Jeanine Serralles, Dylan Thuraisingham also star in the series produced by Heyday Television with Katrina Lenk, Timm Sharp, Nate Mann, Paula Andrea Placido, Pooja Shah, and Quentin Plair set as guest stars.

Executive producers include David Heyman, Gregory Jacobs, Liane Moriarty, Annette Bening, Joe Hortua, Albert Page and Jillian Share. Chris Sweeney EP’s the first two and last two episodes of the limited series, with Dawn Shadforth taking the other three.

Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group, is the studio behind the series with distribution by NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution.

All episodes of Apples Never Fall will drop on March 14 on Peacock.
